Children from years 2 and 3 were invited to Bedford Academy to watch an A Level production of ‘Little Red Riding Hood’. The A Level students put on a brilliant show which engrossed the children and they were kind enough to let the children look at their set design once the show was finished. The children even had their photos taken with the students!
Badgers were invited to use the Food Technology rooms at Bedford Academy on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st November. We wrote the recipes for a traditional South African Milk Tart and created something extremely tasty! The children (and staff!) had a fantastic time at the Academy, where the rooms are excellently equipped. The children’s behaviour was exemplary and made Miss Grey and Mrs Robinson very proud. Well done Badgers!
On November 14th, Rabbits, Squirrels and Badgers visited Whipsnade Zoo as the ‘Marvellous Middle’ to our Africa work. The children had a fantastic day, and they saw many different African animals they have learnt about in the classroom. We also had time to visit some non-African animals, such as the tigers and Asian elephants, and the children were fascinated to see how fast some of the animals moved.
We all had a great day!
