Early Years Practitioner

We are looking to appoint a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner to cover a maternity leave in EYFS from September 2021

The successful candidate will need to be an enthusiastic, outstanding, creative practitioner who is willing to be flexible and has experience of working in a school setting with Early Years children. We need you to promote a positive, inclusive learning environment in which everyone can achieve the highest possible standards.

In return we can offer a fantastic new Forest School learning environment, supportive colleagues, great children who are eager to learn and opportunities for CPD.

30 hours a week, term time only plus 5 training days.

£18,562-£18,933 pro rata

Early Years Apprentice

September 2021

We are looking to appoint an Apprentice Early Years Practitioner L3 to join our expanding team as soon as possible. You need to be a caring, creative practitioner who has a passion for working in a school setting with Early Years children. We need you to promote a positive, inclusive learning environment in which everyone can achieve the highest possible standards. An enthusiasm for Forest School and learning outside the classroom is essential.

You will join an experienced team of Early Years staff and be mentored through your apprenticeship to enable you to develop the skills and attributes required to be confident and competent with Early Years development.

32.5 hours a week

£4.30 per hour for the first year and then dependent on age, term time only plus 5 training days

CAN YOU HELP? 

Cotton End Forest School are looking for someone who may be interested in joining the School Governing Body, with an interest in outdoor learning.

A Governor is not ‘hands on’ but operates at a strategic level in taking the school forward, essentially being a critical friend at monthly Governor meetings.  Induction and further training is available free of charge at Bedford Borough Council, arranged through the Board.
